This meant that users who kept the app installed on their phones could continue using TikTok, but those who deleted it were unable to reinstall it, as it was no longer accessible on the official app platforms.

Since the app is still unavailable in U.S. app stores, if you want to download and restore TikTok, you’ll need to use a VPN and create a new account in an app store from a country where TikTok is available (such as copyright or the United Kingdom). This will allow you to access TikTok and download it from that country’s app store.

How to Download TikTok from the Apple App Store

To download TikTok from the Apple App Store, you’ll need to use a VPN and choose one of the following options:

Change the region of your current App Store account.
Create a new App Store account in a country where TikTok is not restricted.

Important: Using a VPN to change your IP address alone is not enough. You must also change your App Store region or create a new account.

Here are the steps to re-download the TikTok app on your iPhone or Android device:

1. Change the App Store Region

Note: Simply activating a VPN won’t allow you to download TikTok from the App Store. You must also change your App Store region.

2. Create a New App Store Account

Connect to your preferred VPN service in a country where TikTok is accessible.

Select Don’t have an Apple ID or forgot it? and then choose Create a Free Apple ID.

Ensure the VPN is still connected to a country where TikTok is available, and select that country during the account setup.
For the payment method, select None.
Once your new account is created, open the App Store, sign in with your new credentials, and download TikTok without restrictions.

The second method of creating a new Apple account is simpler than changing the region of an existing account, as you can use this new account solely for TikTok.

Downloading TikTok for Android Devices (Samsung, Google, etc.) After the Ban

1. Change the Region on the Play Store

2. Create a New Google Account

After creating the new account, sign in to the Play Store with the new credentials.
Download TikTok without any restrictions.

3. Use a Browser (For Both iOS and Android)

Open your preferred VPN on your smartphone or PC and connect to a country where TikTok is available.
Launch any browser and visit the TikTok.com website.
Enter your login ID and password to access TikTok.

Using a web browser may allow you to access TikTok without restrictions, but ensure the VPN is connected to a country where TikTok is available, such as copyright, Singapore, or Vietnam.

When Will TikTok Be Back on the App Store or Play Store?

Currently, there is no information on when TikTok will return to the App Store or Play Store. Users who already have the app installed can continue using it without interruption. However, for those who deleted it, the methods mentioned above can help you access TikTok.
